Can Brianna, Ryan, and Andre deal with their love triangle, accept they are a Triad of power, and come to terms with their pasts in time to battle evil forces and save French Polynesia?
Brianna, Ryan, and Andre embark on a journey across French Polynesia and into the underworld. With the aid of a psychic shaman and a faery, the three discover their powers, but mastering their abilities in time to save Tahiti is another problem. Meanwhile men are being eaten, people are disappearing and The Triad must do battle with a carnivorous spirit, a vampire ghost and two evil witchdoctors set on raising the dead and becoming powerful gods.
A blanket of mist flowed into the meeting hall and wrapped around everyone including Brianna. It swirled around Brianna’s ankles; quickly moved up her thighs to her waist, then over her head. It felt alive; a living entity with binding strength. She heard screams and footsteps running. Her hands instinctively reached for Andre and Ryan on either side of her. Her right hand came up empty, but her left hand…her left hand came up with long bony fingers not like either man’s. The hand viselike tightened around her. Its long nails dug into her arm. The pain took her breath away and vapor oozed into her mouth reaching down her throat making it impossible to speak or scream. Long fingers grasped her jaw, turned her head and she felt long teeth scrapping against her neck. Fear encased her and she shook uncontrollably.
“Your soul will be a lovely trophy.” The dark voice whispered into her ear sending more chills down her spine.
Held captive and unable to move Brianna knew the vampire ghost had her in its spell; knew her soul was at risk. She gave a silent call to the Goddess.
Screams emanated from all around and from afar she heard a thunderous roar and recognized Andre’s Puma. The jaguar’s call shattered her fear. She remembered who she was; she remembered the Triad and began to fight. Her power pushed out from every pore of her body; pushed against the vampire ghost, pushed the evil back and out through the hall and out of Faeryland. The mist dissipated with the evil. Brianna looked around at the lifeless bodies lying on the meeting hall floor. King Nakanaela stood across the room a pile of bloody bones by his feet.
